Welcome to Auvaria, where passion, team spirit, responsibility, and courage form the basis of our culture.

We are looking for a motivated and solution-oriented team player (f/m/d) with a flair for individual customer requirements and a strong hands-on mentality. As a Senior Cloud Consultant - Data & MLOps Engineer, you will play an important role in the implementation of complex cloud projects, focusing on data engineering and machine learning solutions. Furthermore, you assume responsibility for the technical architecture and implementation of cloud solutions for our customers.

  • Technical consulting and implementation: Comprehensively advise our customers on all technical aspects of cloud solutions, focusing on data infrastructure, ETL processes, GenAI, and machine learning solutions. Develop innovative and scalable cloud architectures that meet specific customer requirements. Take responsibility for the implementation and operation of AWS-based solutions, configuring, optimizing, and monitoring cloud infrastructures, ETL pipelines, GenAI solutions, and ML models to ensure smooth operation.
  • Data Engineering and MLOps: Develop and maintain robust ETL processes on AWS, ensuring data quality, consistency, and availability for analytics and machine learning purposes. Deploy and maintain scalable machine learning models, with a strong focus on Generative AI and prompt engineering using services such as AWS SageMaker and Bedrock.
  • Infrastructure and DevOps: Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform, and establish efficient CI/CD pipelines for both infrastructure and application deployments.
  • Pre-sales and customer acquisition: Support sales in pre-sales activities and present the advantages of cloud-based data and ML solutions to our customers. Inspire potential customers with your technical expertise and your passion for cloud technologies.
  • Knowledge transfer and training: Share your cloud, data, and ML expertise with colleagues and external participants in workshops and training courses. Contribute to the continuous development of the team and the internal cloud competence.

Your profile:

  • Solid technical know-how: You have a bachelor's or Maser’s degree in computer science, engineering or another relevant STEM field. You have at least two years of experience in the IT industry, ideally with a focus on cloud technologies.
  • AWS Expertise: You know your way around AWS, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience. Familiarity with data and ML services and tools is essential, and certifications like AWS Solution Architect are a big plus—or you’re ready to earn one!
  • Data Engineering skills: Strong experience in designing and implementing ETL processes on AWS. Proficiency in working with various databases and SQL.
  • MLOps proficiency: Extensive experience in deploying and maintaining machine learning models, with a particular focus on Generative AI and prompt engineering. Proficiency in using AWS SageMaker and Bedrock for ML workflows.
  • Programming skills: Strong proficiency in Python for both software engineering and data science tasks.
  • CI/CD knowledge: Experience in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for both infrastructure and application deployments.
  • Proven experience with IaC: You have good experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK or Pulumi.
  • Project management experience: You have experience in managing IT projects and are familiar with agile methods such as Scrum or Kanban. Ideally, you are able to plan, organize and successfully complete complex projects.
  • Communication and Consulting skills: You are fluent in German and English (at least professional working proficiency in both languages) and can explain technical topics in simple terms to different audiences. You enjoy working with others and building good relationships with customers or teammates. Previous consulting experience in a professional services environment is highly desirable.
  • Learning efficiency: You have excellent learning skills and are always motivated to learn new technologies and customer environments. You are curious and open to new challenges and are not afraid to learn new things.
