ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Software Developer to join our team in Herndon, VA. This is an onsite position.  

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Develop and update custom software code for financial systems

• Analyze problem reports and prepare accurate schedule estimates to develop solutions

• Document software code sufficiently and accurately

• Provide support to business analysts and testers in identifying anomalies

• Reliably and accurately report progress within the software development support tools

• Provide program documentation input for design and solution elements.

• Assist junior developers and manage development tasks as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (4 years)

• 5+ years of C++ development experience

• 2+ years of webMethods development experience

• 4+ years of experience in Java programming

• 3 + years of experience writing complex SQL queries

• Experience working in an Oracle RDBMS environment

• Exposure to large scale ERP development solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting Momentum Financial Management software

• 2+ years of experience working with Javascript

• Familiar with BIRT Report Designer and Hyperion SQR

• Fundamental understanding of federal financials

• Knowledge of Momentum Financials

• Knowledge of the SAP Business Objects tool suite

Clearance Requirements:

• Must have Current/Active Secret clearance

Physical Requirements:

• The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

• Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery.

• Ability to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and/or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
