Unit Summary:
MelroseWakefield Hospital's Emergency Department is a Level III accredited Trauma Center and is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We offer:
Private exam, treatment and observation rooms with space for family members to stay
A triage and fast-track area so patients can be treated as efficiently as possible
A modern imaging suite with CT scanners and X-ray capabilities
Neurology and neurosurgery services to evaluate and consult on your symptoms
When emergency cardiac care is needed, we are the only hospital in the area that offers an on-site cardiac catheterization lab
28 bed ED which includes a 4 bed psych holding area
Hours:
36 hours/week Night Shift
7p-7a, Every Third Weekend
Qualifications:
RN Massachusetts license required
Associates required, Bachelors Preferred
BLS required
ACLS
1-2 years experience preferred
Hours: 36 hours/week
7pm-7am rotating weekends and holidays
