Here, they develop and deliver the software platform for our next generation vehicle architecture. Software development will include the definition, configuration, and integration of AUTOSAR Basic Software components for AUTOSAR classic frameworks.</p> <p> </p> <p>JLR offer a dynamic work environment, the chance to grow and progress within the company and to develop your skills in new technologies. This is a great role where you will be working with a supportive team and on exciting new products and technologies including Automotive Ethernet Networks, Multicore application hosting and Software Over The Air (SOTA).</p> <p> </p> <p>You will be a highly motivated and experienced automotive engineer with responsibility for the design, development, and delivery of our next generation software platform in an AUTOSAR framework. You will have a record of production software development and delivery through all stages of the engineering development V cycle regarding software artefacts, requirements cascade, design, implementation, validation, and verification in an AUTOSAR compliant framework.</p> <p> </p> <p>Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:</p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>You will be supporting the development process of AUTOSAR-compliant ECUs, from specification to series production as well as capture, coordinate and successfully implement the requirements of the AUTOSAR standard.</li> <li>Adaptation, configuration, and implementation of AUTOSAR basic software modules including the development of concepts and documenting software interfaces in AUTOSAR-compliant ECUs.</li> <li>Integration and configuration of AUTOSAR Basic Software components (e.g., ECU State Management, Watchdog, Flash EEPROM, RTOS systems)</li> <li>You will be responsible for development of software for both new and legacy JLR ECUs, this code can range from vehicle level across multiple ECU’s to single ECU level depending on product and systems.</li> <li>Experience of feature development and knowledge of Model-Based software development and software architecture as well as requirements gathering and analysis, controls strategy design, development and execution of validation process.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>WHAT YOU’LL NEED</p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Feature development experience leveraging embedded software &amp; device driver development using C/C++ with Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and architectures.</li> <li>Knowledge of the AUTOSAR stack and familiarity with AUTOSAR configuration tools (DaVinci Developer / Configurator, EB Tresos).</li> <li>Understanding of automotive networking, diagnostics and fault handling techniques, including diagnostic implementation in AUTOSAR compliant framework (DEM/DCM config) as well as experience in developing and debugging the MCAL layer and the RTE of the AUTOSAR stack.</li> <li>Knowledge of automotive diagnostics and system dev tools (CANalyzer, CANoe, XCP, Trace32 Lauterbach etc.) and experience with one of more protocols like CAN, I2C, SPI, Ethernet, LIN.</li> <li>Knowledge on Microcontroller and SoC architecture, device drivers, compiler and debuggers (GHS, UDE, Lauterback).</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> SO WHY US?<br/> <br/> Bring all this to the home of premium innovation, and you’ll find the opportunities to further your career with a world-class team,  membership of a competitive pension plan and private medical cover.
