Position Summary
Functions as a Phlebotomist and Patient Service Representative in the Siteman Cancer Center Lab. Position provides basic blood drawing procedures or experienced skill in capillary and venipuncture blood collection on patients in a patient unit, outpatient area, or laboratory environment under direct or moderate supervision.Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Draws blood on patients by venipuncture or capillary sticks.
Applies sweat tests at supervisor’s discretion.
Transports specimens.
Performs other duties assigned by supervisor or Phlebotomy coordinator.
