Senior Property Manager

A leading Commercial Real Estate firm in San Diego is seeking a Senior Commercial Property Manager to oversee the operations of a commercial property portfolio. This individual will manage day-to-day property operations, tenant relationships, vendor coordination, and financial performance while serving as a key liaison between ownership, tenants, and service providers.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience in commercial property management, financial oversight, and tenant relations, along with the ability to proactively manage building operations and support overall asset performance.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of a commercial property portfolio, ensuring properties are well-maintained and operating efficiently.
• Maintain strong relationships with property owners and provide regular updates on property performance and operational matters.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for tenant inquiries, requests, and operational issues.
• Coordinate property maintenance, repairs, and vendor services.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor proposals and oversee contractor performance.
• Assist with the preparation and management of operating budgets and monitor expenses against budget.
• Review financial reports and coordinate with accounting to ensure accurate billing and collections.
• Maintain lease files, monitor lease expirations, and support tenant renewals and leasing activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 10+ years of commercial property management experience.
• Active California Department of Real Estate (DRE) License.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience utilizing property management software (Yardi, MRI, AppFolio, Rent Manager, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field.
• CPM (Certified Property Manager) or RPA designation.
• Experience managing multi-property commercial portfolios.
• Strong understanding of commercial lease structures and property operations.
• Experience managing operating budgets and reviewing property financials.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills.
