Now, we are poised for expansion as we establish a centralized sales organization.


In the role of Sales Executive, you'll be at the forefront of our growth strategy, driving our market presence and delivering customized solutions to credit unions. Your expertise will be crucial in forging strong client relationships, uncovering new business opportunities, and spearheading our sales initiatives. This is a pivotal opportunity to shape the future of our sales efforts and make a substantial impact.


Please note: This is a full-time, remote position, with flexibility and willingness to travel as needed to engage with clients and attend industry and networking events.  Up to 50% travel required. Position works often with partners in the Pacific Standard Time Zone, so availability during a PST schedule is important.  


Key responsibilities include:


Business Development:

· Proactively seek out and identify new business opportunities within the credit union industry and new markets.

· Conduct market research to identify potential clients and assess their needs.

· Travel to tradeshows, networking and industry events to represent the company, expand brand awareness and promote offerings (up to 50% travel).

· Nurture relationships with prospects through the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to closing the deal.

· Develop a balanced sales strategy and build a pipeline that includes both short-term and long-term opportunities.


Sales Consultation:

· Maintain knowledge of offerings and services for the MSA portfolio.

· Provide a consultative approach to clients, understanding client needs and recommending appropriate services and solutions.

· Adhere to all sales and support processes that MSA has determined as essential for success.

· Lead cross-discipline sales account teams using consultative selling techniques.


Account Management:

· Serve as a key member of the account team for assigned accounts with a focus on client satisfaction, retention, and upselling opportunities to maximize revenue growth.

· Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.

· Gather detailed account information, analyze and prioritize it to develop effective sales strategies.


CRM and Pipeline Management:

· Work proficiently within a CRM system to track and manage leads, opportunities, and client interactions.

· Keep organized and detailed records of sales activities.

· Build and manage a robust sales pipeline to ensure consistent business growth.


Performance Management:

· Manage performance-to-sales plans and territory plans using metrics and scorecards.

· Develop and implement action plans to increase profitability, including growth, retention, and optimization plans.

· Deliver proposals, forecast, and report on sales activity.


Collaboration and Communication:

· Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a cohesive approach to sales and client service.

· Provide feedback and insights from the field to help shape business strategies and offerings.

· Deliver regular updates to leadership stakeholders to keep them informed about opportunities.

· Seek guidance and support from leadership to align sales strategies with product portfolio goals.

Requirements

 · Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience and industry-specific training in a relevant field such as Business, Finance, Sales, Marketing, or Communications.

· Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive responsibilities in B2B sales, client management, and/or marketing within the financial services sector.

· Knowledge of the credit union industry is required.

· Must possess a valid driver’s license.

· Must be bondable.
