Responsibilities / Tasks

Are you passionate about data architecture and eager to drive data strategies in a dynamic environment? Join our team as an Enterprise Data Architect and lead the way in shaping our enterprise data landscape to support our business goals.

Available locations: Germany (Düsseldorf), the Netherlands (’s-Hertogenbosch), Denmark (Soeborg)

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee data use, standardization, governance, and value generation across applications.
  • Align data architecture with business strategy.
  • Lead the GEA data strategy and architectural initiatives.
  • Provide architectural leadership and consulting across the organization.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Support and review solution architecture designs for strategic projects.
  • Assist in developing data strategies and governance frameworks.
  • Collaborate to build necessary IT capabilities.
  • Support BRMs in IT project demands and changes.
  • Develop and document target architectures and roadmaps.
  • Maintain data architecture documentation in EAM tools (e.g., LeanIX).
  • Define reusable architecture concepts and patterns.
  • Stay informed and contribute to master data, big data, analytics, AI/ML activities.
  • Contribute to IT strategy development and innovation leadership for data.
  • Enhance EA capabilities and services.
  • Define architecture tools, frameworks, and standards.

Your Profile / Qualifications

Professional Knowledge and Experience:

  • Proven expertise in data architecture, focusing on master data, governance, and quality.
  • Experience in analytics and advanced analytics (big data, ML, AI) is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of standards and products for (SAP) master data management and governance.
  • Understanding of architecture-related standards and frameworks.

Other Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong consulting, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for team collaboration and leadership.
  • Proficient in professional-level English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Competent with modeling and presentation tools (e.g., LeanIX, Signavio, Draw.io, Visio, PowerPoint, MS Office Suite).
