Warehouse Yard Keeper - - $25.25 Starting

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record
  
  
• Minimum of one year of tractor-trailer driving experience
  
  
• DOT physical certification required

Desired Qualifications:

• Ability to complete all new hire driver requirements
  
  
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to DOT regulations
  
  
• High school diploma preferred
  
  
• Power Equipment Certification is a plus
  
  
• Mechanically inclined candidates preferred
  
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficient Trailer Movement: Ensure all trailers designated for shipping are in position by 8:00 AM daily
  
  
• Yard Inventory Management: Conduct daily inventory of trailers and assign them as needed
  
  
• Trailer Transfers: Move trailers for receiving and shipping as required
  
  
• Yard Organization & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard environment
  
  
• Equipment Inspection & Reporting: Identify, annotate, and report any trailer deficiencies to the onsite mechanic before use
  
  
• Training & Onboarding: Assist with training new drivers in yard operations before they begin ride-alongs
  
  
• Local Deliveries: Make local deliveries as needed to support warehouse and logistics operations
  
  
• Minor Maintenance & Repairs: Perform basic trailer repairs, such as light replacements and other minor mechanical tasks
• Multitasking & Adaptability: Handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining high safety and performance standards
