Automotive Technician - Express

Your next opportunity awaits! Kia Santa Monica, a leading Automotive Dealership, is seeking a highly motivated Express Service Technician. If you have experience as an Automotive Express/Lube Technician, we want to hear from you. We are open to candidates with retail experience from AutoZone, Jiffy Lube, Pep Boys, independent shops, or students currently enrolled in Automotive programs. 

Responsibilities

The Express Service Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and minor repairs, ensuring customer satisfaction and contributing to the overall success of our service department.  

• Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations and filter replacements.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunction of vehicles and perform repairs.
• Accurately document record of all repairs, services and maintenance performed on vehicles in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Collaborate with service team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.
• Perform maintenance and repairs with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of prior experience as an Automotive Express/Lube Technician is preferred. 
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• A career as an Automotive Technician is highly desired, and we offer training and growth opportunities to support this path.

Compensation:

• The estimated hourly rate range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00.
