Contributes with solid financial domain knowledge to value creation out of financial data by applying data analytics methods and tools, extracting relevant insights and providing suitable analytics for financial accounting, reporting and controlling.

This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Financial Data Analyst within Analytics & Governance Diagnostics (SHS DX FI BPC A&G), you will be responsible for:

• Development of Financial Reporting & Analytic standards for Diagnostics globally incl. AI based solutions for Business Lines, Functions and Legal Entities

• Developing, driving & executing digital solutions within the Diagnostics Finance Organization, including robotics process automation, analytics and advanced analytics, visualization software, artificial intelligence, and machine learning

• Responsible to support Digital projects by applying digitalization skills to implement those by applying suitable digital solutions; this also includes the support of cross-functional projects

• Responsible for defining and guiding the tool/app strategy within Diagnostics Finance and evaluate those with regards to their benefit in improving the Finance performance

• Supporting cross-functional business Digitalization and Data projects within the Finance function

• Financial Performance Analysis of business performance, underlying operational KPIs and relevant internal and external developments incl. growth & profitability analysis, as well as balance sheet analytics for continuous improvement

• Drives a global governance within Diagnostics for Reporting & Analytics incl. Balance Sheet & P&L governance across DX entities incl clear focus on harmonization & transparency

• Supporting DX Finance Data Governance & Digitalization incl. data integrity, consolidation, and validation across different tools

• Acts as a catalyst for change management to drive active improvements within their own responsibility across the global DX Finance organization

• Analytical thinking and rapidly learn complex topics, especially in the field of analysis, evaluation, and handling of structured and unstructured / multi-structured data

• Experience with visualization (e.g. PowerBI, QlikSense, …) and automation tools (e.g. UIPath, KNIME, …), as well as knowledge in advanced analytics (AI, ML, …)

• Result & high-quality orientated working attitude

• Ideally, you have already knowledge of the Finance function, its processes, and the Finance tool landscape and experience in controlling and accounting principles.

Requirements:

• A Master’s and/ or bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or Economics is required, and/or education as professional accountant (CPA or equivalent) is beneficial

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in accounting and/ or controlling  

• Required amount of travel: 5%
