Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Project Manager to be based in Seattle, WA.
You will be joining of a global team of 500+ maritime specialists who support on a wide range of maritime developments including container terminals, LNG facilities, waterfront developments, federal maritime facilities, cruise and ferry terminals, marinas and harbors as well as coastal schemes such as beach development and coastal protection schemes.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing a project to achieve specified objectives. Involves the overall planning, coordination and control of a project from inception to completion to produce a functionally and financially viable project that will be completed on time within authorized cost and to the required quality.
- Manages scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and change management
- Manages one or more complex projects, involving a full spectrum of engineering services offered by AECOM
- Provides project and technical task management for one or more simultaneous projects
- Identifies problems, determines accuracy and relevance of information, uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and makes recommendations
- Good presentation and communication skills in English. Good report and proposal writing skills
- Client Relationships: Ability to assist in developing new client relationships and to strengthen existing client relationships. Ability to identify, understand and focus on clients’ key requirements
- Assist in development of business opportunities and project capture
- Team leadership: good team leadership skills. Self-starter, energetic, pro-active.
- Strong Team player
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- BA/BS + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Project experience working with Department of Defense
Preferred Qualifications
- 20 + Years industry experience
- Experience working with Department of Defense operational requirements related to infrastructure support
- MSc in related field
- Project Management Professional
- Previous experience in leading projects to required quality, timeliness, and budget parameters
- Previous experience in maintaining client relationships
- Experienced in planning, design, and construction management
