Warehouse Industrial Engineer

We are seeking a Warehouse Industrial Engineer to drive process optimization and operational excellence. This role will be responsible for analyzing workflows, managing the warehouse team, optimizing material flow, and leveraging technology (D365 ERP system) to enhance productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead warehouse operations, ensuring efficient material flow, inventory control, and space utilization.
- Supervise and develop the warehouse team, providing leadership, training, and performance management.
- Analyze and improve operational processes within the warehouse and manufacturing areas to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies to drive operational excellence.
- Manage and maintain the site’s ERP system (D365), ensuring accurate inventory tracking, material planning, and workflow optimization.
- Identify and implement best practices for warehouse layout and storage solutions to maximize space efficiency.
- Collaborate with Production and Plant Leadership to ensure smooth coordination between manufacturing and warehouse operations.
- Support capital projects and facility improvements, including layout optimization, equipment selection, and ROI cost justifications.
- Conduct data-driven analysis on warehouse performance metrics and recommend process enhancements.
- Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring projects remain on budget and on schedule.
- Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, safety rules, and instructions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or relevant field, required.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of related experience in warehouse operations leveraging ERP systemization.
- Experience with ERP systems (D365 preferred) for inventory and production management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. independently and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility for overtime and shift hours as required.
