Part-time Adjunct Instructor of Psychology

Soka University of America (SUA) and the Social and Behavioral Sciences concentration invite applications to fill a Part-time Adjunct Instructor position in Psychology.  The adjunct instructor will teach two sections of Introduction to Psychology in our Spring Semester, beginning on February 3 and ending on May 20.

 

The successful candidate will have a strong record of teaching, with a demonstrated understanding of the interdisciplinary curriculum in the liberal arts tradition. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to engage students in active learning in our small (average 14-student) classes.

Qualifications

Applicants should have a Ph.D. or be ABD in Psychology and should have experience teaching undergraduate Psychology courses.

Salary: The anticipated salary range for this position is $5,850 - $7,200 per course and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
