About the role
Coordinate different shared resources for projects you have been assigned, from start to finish. From the equipment design phase to commissioning, ensuring compliance with technical objectives, deadlines, unit conceptualization, timelines, and quality standards.
What you will bring to the role:
Execution and monitoring of project stages according to the technical project management instruction FR/BTA/ICCS.
Review of project scope and finalization of technical definitions according to the offer, identifying critical points.
Develop detailed engineering and test plans required by the projects. Project design (engineering and electronics).
Design and develop any BTA/FR/ICCS option, including the search, selection, and technical specification of required instruments and equipment.
Supervise and verify the equipment construction process, ensuring compliance with established standards.
Maintain direct contact with clients to identify their needs and translate them into customized technical solutions.
Manage relationships with suppliers and manufacturers, both national and international, to ensure correct acquisition of equipment and materials.
Coordinate with different departments to ensure effective collaboration and adherence to project timelines.
Prepare reports and documentation for the tasks and projects carried out.
Plan required purchases, request quotations, place orders through the ERP system, and follow up accordingly.
Lead and participate in equipment assembly, especially during critical phases or components.
Test the equipment once software and hardware are integrated, according to client specifications and the test plan.
Collaborate with the sales department throughout the project's administrative process, from order reception to equipment shipment, including the necessary shipping or export documentation.
Conduct FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and client training courses.
Travel for SAT (Site Acceptance Testing), installation, and commissioning at the client's site, when required.
Provide support to the Technical Service department for units produced under your design or coordination.
Train new employees.
Semi-annual monitoring of compliance with indicators associated with the Quality System.
Proper segregation of generated waste.
Comply with the company’s applicable Health and Safety measures.
About you:
Fluent/Native in Spanish
University Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, among others.
English – B2 or C1 level (written, read, and spoken).
Willingness to travel nationally or internationally (2 to 3 trips per year, lasting 10–15 days each).
Ability to maintain productivity and efficiency under challenging work conditions, such as high workload, tight deadlines, or both.
Commitment to maintaining a positive work environment.
Knowledge of electrical systems and control systems.
Experience in risk and operability analysis (HAZOP) to ensure safety and efficiency in operations, including flammable areas (ATEX) - ideally
