About the role

Position Summary:

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations with a focus on offloading and receiving materials, maintaining accurate stock levels, managing tools and equipment, and coordinating shipping and receiving activities to and from jobsites. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated, ensuring that all warehouse processes are efficient, safe, and aligned with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and participate in the offloading, receiving, and inspection of incoming materials and supplies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and stock levels, ensuring materials are properly stored, labeled, and tracked.
  • Oversee and manage tools and equipment, ensuring they are maintained, calibrated, and ready for use.
  • Coordinate shipping and deliveries to jobsites, ensuring materials and tools are dispatched on time and accurately documented.
  • Utilize warehouse management and inventory software to track materials, generate reports, and ensure data accuracy.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, in compliance with company policies and safety standards.
  • Lead by example, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct periodic inventory counts and audits to reconcile discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with project managers and field teams to support operational needs.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse operational or supervisory role (minimum 2–3 years preferred).
  • Proficiency in warehouse management software and basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, ERP systems).
  • Forklift certification (required) and demonstrated experience operating warehouse equipment safely.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving ability.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a construction, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
  • Familiarity with shipping documentation, freight coordination, and jobsite logistics.
