The Quality Specialist supports the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) by managing corrective actions, root cause analyses, audits, and quality tools. This role ensures compliance with industry standards and customer requirements, drives continuous improvement, and supports overall quality objectives
This is an on-site position that currently supports a 5x8 work schedule on Shift A Monday – Friday 7:00AM – 3:30PM
Position Responsibilities:
- Manage and track Corrective Actions (CAs) and Root Cause (RC) investigations to ensure timely and effective resolution
- Support internal and external audit activities, including preparation, execution, and follow-up on findings
- Maintain and update quality tools and databases to ensure accurate and accessible quality data
- Assist in the development, review, and implementation of QMS procedures and work instructions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify quality issues and implement process improvements
- Monitor compliance with regulatory and customer quality requirements
- Provide training and guidance on QMS processes and tools to site personnel
- Generate quality reports and metrics to support management reviews and analytical skills
- Participate in quality improvement projects and initiatives as assigned
- Support supplier quality activities as needed
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- More than 3 years experience working in a Quality job role
- More than 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or manufacturing support environment
- Experience with Quality Management Systems (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001, or BQMS)
- Experience working in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- 3+ years of experience in the aerospace industry
- 5+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience working directly with National Quality Assurance (NQA) auditors

Summary pay range: $95,200 – $128,800
