The Penn Memory Center conducts and participates in a wide range of research studies focused on Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, mild cognitive impairment, cognitive aging, and lifelong brain health. We are seeking a bilingual, Spanish-speaking Clinical Research Coordinator to lead or substantially assist other coordinators in the execution of federally-funded longitudinal cohort studies focused enrolling Hispanic participants to help support the goal of increasing the diversity and representation in our cohort. This candidate will conduct multiple research-related tasks including: screening, recruiting, consenting and enrolling eligible subjects using GCP guidelines; implementing various research protocols and guidelines; undergoing MRI and PET protocol training; scheduling research visits; completing certifications to administer cognitive testing. In collaboration with the center’s outreach team, this candidate will attend community events and speak publicly (in both English and Spanish) on healthy brain aging and research studies.Job Description
Job Responsibilities
Coordinator A: The CRC A will assist other coordinators in the execution of our federally funded studies, which includes the recruitment and retention of potential research participants. Additional duties include scheduling and conducting study visits per protocol, administering cognitive testing, and supporting outreach efforts.
Coordinator B: In addition to the duties above, the CRC B will oversee the day to day operations of longitudinal cohort studies, delegate duties across all staff members, and assist with training of new staff. The CRC B will also maintain and submit regulatory documents independently.
Hiring range minimum for this position is $44,947.
