Compensation includes a base salary of $99,000.00 - $165,000.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving innovation in cloud technologies. You will play a critical role in identifying and implementing improvements across our cloud infrastructure, enhancing automation, and ensuring the scalability and stability of our services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently identify and implement improvements in processes, procedures, and technical systems.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize product delivery timelines and service performance.

  • Develop and maintain advanced PowerShell scripts with robust parameter validation, reusable functions/modules, and dynamic logic to support enterprise-scale automation.

  • Design and deploy remediation and automation solutions across large-scale environments (500K+ endpoints), ensuring reliability and performance.

  • Build and support internal tooling for configuration drift detection and vulnerability remediation.

  • Optimize script performance using runspaces, scheduled tasks, and throttling techniques.

  • Collaborate with internal teams using GitHub for version control, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.

  • Create and maintain Power BI dashboards by integrating multiple data sources to deliver actionable insights and reporting.

  • Continuously explore and implement automation opportunities, demonstrating a self-driven and innovative mindset.

  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code to streamline deployment and operations.

  • Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues, providing expert-level troubleshooting and resolution.

  • Ensure best practices in cloud architecture, security, and compliance are consistently applied.

Minimun Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 4 years’ experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 2 years’ experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 8 years’ experience in a related field

  • Proven hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting in enterprise environments.

  • Strong understanding of automation frameworks and performance optimization strategies.

  • Experience with GitHub for source control and collaborative development.

  • Familiarity with Power BI and data visualization best practices.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Self-motivated, self-taught, and passionate about scripting, automation, and continuous improvement.

  • Proven experience in cloud engineering with a focus on AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or hybrid environments.

  • Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible).

  • Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, and security principles.
