Seasonal Pool Side Server

Here at Murrieta Hot Spring Resort we are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Poolside Server to join our hospitality team. As a Poolside Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests have an enjoyable and relaxing experience while they are at the pool area. Your primary duties will include taking food and beverage orders, delivering orders promptly, maintaining cleanliness in the poolside area, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires a friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will be the face of our establishment for guests enjoying the pool, so professionalism and a positive attitude are essential. In this role, you will interact with guests from diverse backgrounds, ensuring their needs are met and that they feel valued. You will also collaborate with other team members, including kitchen staff and bartenders, to ensure seamless service. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in food and beverage service, though we are willing to train the right individual who demonstrates a strong work ethic and a passion for hospitality. Your responsibilities will also include setting up and breaking down the poolside service area, monitoring guest satisfaction, and addressing any issues or concerns promptly. You will need to be knowledgeable about the menu, including any specials or promotions, and be able to make recommendations to guests. Additionally, you will be expected to adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and safe environment for both guests and staff. Qualifications

Core Responsibilities:

•  Take and deliver food and beverage orders promptly and accurately.
•  Maintain cleanliness and organization in the poolside area.
•  Provide exceptional customer service to all guests.
•  Set up and break down the poolside service area daily.
•  Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns or complaints.
•  Be knowledgeable about the menu and make recommendations to guests.
•  Collaborate with kitchen staff and bartenders to ensure seamless service.
•  Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements:

• Good communication skills verbal and written
• High work ethic and self-initiative
•  Regular attendance according to established guidelines
• May be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property
• Focus and maintain attention to multiple tasks in a short time period, and complete work assignments within deadline demands, despite frequent interruptions
• Ability to maintain excellent relationships with staff and maintain staff and guest confidentiality at all times
• Must complete food handler and alcohol awareness training as required
• Must practice all food handling guidelines

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Lift approximately thirty (30) pounds
• Grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, pulling, pushing, listening and hearing ability and visual ability

This is a Part-Time SEASONAL position with possible extension (March 2025-October 2025)

Hourly: $16.50
