Virtual Event & Technology Manager

Job Description

We’re looking for a Virtual Event & Technology Manager who will specialize in building, managing and executing Procore’s virtual events and event technology stack. This role will set the overall strategy for Procore’s virtual events, manage event technology platforms, select and manage technology vendors and assist in producing Procore’s annual construction innovation conference, Groundbreak (both the in-person and virtual experiences). The ideal candidate has a love for event marketing and understands the important role virtual event experiences play in supporting overall marketing goals.

This position reports into the Director of Event Marketing and can be based out of any of our US offices or remotely within the US. We're looking for candidates to join us immediately!

What you’ll do:

• Build the strategy and vision for both the event technology solutions for in-person events and for Procore virtual events (e.g., webinars, virtual conferences), including the strategy for Groundbreak Live, Procore’s virtual annual conference, and virtual events of varying complexities during the year
• Lead and execute large, multi-channel virtual events with creative and strategic objectives
• Manage events with live show/programming and technical elements with limited supervision (i.e. awards shows, panels, and summits requiring show/script development, tech teams, and stage/show management)
• Build the strategy, plan and recommendation for our event technology stack, inclusive of registration technology, event technology, mobile applications, webinar technologies, etc. 
• Handle virtual event management support in terms of training, enablement, process and platform buildout
• Select event technology vendors and manage vendor relationships, including registration vendors, inbox management vendors, virtual event vendors, etc; handle multi-language virtual event management and management of vendors outside the U.S. 
• Plan, manage and execute all aspects of registration build, attendee management, reporting pre-event, onsite and post-event functions
• Oversee layout, vendor management, staffing, technology, and all logistics for a seamless onsite & virtual check-in process; on-site event support and management of registration and mobile app vendors
• Provide registration and revenue reports for program stakeholders as well as reconciliation and reporting post event
• Manage Groundbreak’s current event software and ensure data is accurately represented across our event website, mobile app and registration reporting
• Collaborate with creative and brand teams to confirm alignment on assets needed for the mobile app and manage all push notifications and capabilities of the app; report on virtual event data, success metrics and solutions for growth 

What we're looking for:

• 8+ years of experience in event production 
• 5+ years of experience in event technology management, Bizzabo experience a plus
• Experience with event technology platforms (Cvent, Aventri, Bizzabo, ON24 & Rainfocus) and mobile apps preferred
• Ability to establish effective processes, meetings and milestones and regularly communicate deadlines and interdependencies
• Must be exceptionally detail-oriented, independent and able to successfully manage multiple, concurrent project demands within established timelines
• Strong proficiency in gaining alignment and communicating with key inter-departmental collaborators
• Demonstrate an ability to take initiative, anticipate needs and exercise independent and good judgment
• Proficient using Google Suite, Slack, Monday.com and event management tools

Additional Information

Base Pay Range $110,000-$151,250. Eligible for Bonus Incentive Compensation. Eligible for Equity Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
