Here is What Your day May Consist of:

Animal Emergency & Specialty Center seeks a veterinary assistant with a broad skill set, strong work ethic, with a quick mind to help manage our emergency caseload.

Responsibilities include:

• Triage incoming emergencies 
• Gather patient histories and vitals 
• Restraint for patient procedures 
• Assist veterinarians and technicians in diagnostics and treatments 
• Dispense medications 
• Cleaning and restocking 
• Client communication 

Here is What You Will Bring to the Position:

• Veterinary assistant experience is not required, but animal care experience is preferred
• Ability to display empathy and emotional intelligence when handling client interactions
• Strong work ethic, good communication skills, a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and grow, and a passion for saving the lives of animals. 
• Because we are a 24-hour facility, nights and holidays may be required.
