Head of Trade Credit/Trade Finance Sweden

The Role

We are looking for an experienced leader as part of our regional growth strategy in Sweden and Finland. You will be responsible for bringing our Trade Credit and Trade Finance solutions to our bank and corporate clients and prospects. Working closely with your international Trade Credit colleagues and local account executives in Corporate Risk and Broking (CRB) you will be responsible for building your team, cross sell activities, sales campaigns and implementation and execution of Willis’ TCI/TF strategy.

Activities will include, but not be limited to:

• As part of Willis’ Sweden sales management team you need to make sure our solutions will become part of our total offering to our clients
• Leading on offensive RFP’s
• Unlocking Broker of Record (BOR) opportunities with existing WTW clients who use other trade credit brokers or are direct with insurers
• Attract talent to support our growth ambition
• Initiate sales & marketing activities, including direct selling and conference participation
• Actively utilise the WTW CRM and Broking Platform systems
• Participate as appropriate in the TCI/TF practice’s aspirations around digitisation, technology and innovation as a key member of bespoke projects and initiatives
• Collaborate with regional CRB & HWC leaders to map opportunities with existing clients and prospects
• Establish marketing and retention strategies for growth and retention in the region
• Support our Trade Credit activities in Finland

The Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following skill sets & attributes:

• A relevant degree preferred
• Proven trade credit insurance/ trade Finance experience
• Detailed knowledge of the Trade Credit Insurance marketplace
• Proven track record in delivering growth within the trade credit industry
• Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
• Excellent communication (written, verbal, oral & presentation) skills and interpersonal skills essential
• Strong team player with good people skills
• Experience in digitisation & technology solutions preferred
• Management skills preferred
• Network in banking and corporates
