You are: Junior Cloud DevSecOps Network Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Network Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure within Oracle Cloud environments.
- Network Security: Implement and maintain network security measures to protect data and systems from unauthorized access.
- Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation and minimal downtime.
- Configuration Management: Configure and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including system administrators, developers, and security specialists to ensure network requirements are met.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, procedures, and protocols.
- Compliance: Ensure network configurations and operations comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Here’s what you need:
- 3 years of experience as a network administrator, preferably with experience in cloud environments and specifically with Oracle Cloud.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, VLANs, VPNs, and routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF).
- Experience with network security technologies and best practices, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and access controls.
- Familiarity with cloud networking concepts and technologies, particularly within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Experience in Terraform, GitLab, Ansible
Certifications (One or more of the following of each)
- One or more of the following: CompTIA Security+, A+, Network+, Cloud+, Pentest+, CySA+ or CASP+ AND
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certified Architect Associate , Professional certification, a certification in process to be completed within 6 month of assignment OR
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

- Clearance: Secret and clearable to DoD Tier 5
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
