In Pulp & Paper, our application expertise, the latest technologies for data-driven process management, digital services, and a complete chemistry portfolio help our customers enhance their sustainability, process efficiency, productivity, and end-product quality. We are now looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Lab Technician for our Pulp and Paper site in Marietta, Ga.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Conducts laboratory tests accurately and efficiently on finished products to ensure test results are within specifications.
Maintains records of all test results and generates Certificates of Analysis as required.
Daily tasks required in SAP.
Performs analyses on in-process production samples, and provides appropriate corrections as needed.
Provides completed release form for products approved for transfer to storage.
Prepares, standardizes, maintains, and labels laboratory solutions (QA & PC labs). Maintains required documentation.
Standardizes laboratory instruments and maintains standardization records.
Housekeeping and laboratory cleanliness
Maintains good attendance
Able to communicate effectively and professionally. Able to work well on a team.

High School Diploma
Good oral and written communication skills.

Basic math skills
Basic chemical analysis skills
Basic computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, SAP)
