Schedule Details:
Monday- OFF
Tuesday – 8:30-9pm
Wednesday- 8:30-5:00
Thursday – 8:30- 5:00
Friday- 8:30- 5:00
Hours may vary on occasion to meet the needs of the clinic operations.
Our clinic offers the unique opportunity to work in an educational setting. Our doctors are engaged in their three year residency training to become Family Physicians, as well as experienced Family Physician faculty, who are all part of the Waukesha Family Medicine Residency Program at ProHealth Care. Medical students from the University of Wisconsin Medical School and Medical College of Wisconsin also rotate at our site. The entire staff of the clinic is involved in the quality improvement and educational projects that create a learning community. We serve a wide variety of patients, including typically underserved patients.

What You Will Do:
The Medical Assistant in Training (MA I) is a Medical Assistant who performs basic duties of the Medical Assistant without technical training. They provide direct care to patients under the supervision and delegation of a MAII, MAIII, and MA IV, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician (Provider) within PHMG. The Medical Assistant in training provides care in partnership with the patient and their family, with the goal of supporting an optimal healing community.
What You Will Need:
- Current High School student or High School Diploma or equivalent
- May be enrolled in an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Basic Life Support Card (BLS) through American Heart Associate; or ability to obtain within 6 months
