ANTICIPATED HIRING SALARY RANGE: $3,192.31/biweekly / $83,000.06/annual

The Work You Will Do:

Transportation Data Scientist / Transportation Data and Analytics

 

This role advances the mission of FDOT’s Transportation Technology by supporting and enhancing key transportation data asset inventory systems, products, and applications. The position applies data science and geospatial techniques to develop highquality digital roadway and asset datasets, maintain and modernize the Roadway Characteristics Inventory (RCI) system and components, and ensure strong data governance across platforms and data users. The general responsibilities include coordinating system and data changes, analyzing transportation datasets, collaborating and training users and business stakeholders, supporting application functionality, and guiding enterprise data integration and ETL activities.

The role also serves as a subject matter expert of transportation inventory data to develop digital data solutions and official transportation statistic information for the Departments obligations to statewide decision-making and public records.  Through cooperation, coordination and collaboration among the OneFDOT team, you will be contributing to a strong and empowering culture of TRREC: Trust, Relationships, Respect, Empowerment, and Communication.
