Preschool Substitute Teacher ($13 per hour)

Join Wonderschool's substitute teaching team and make a difference in the lives of young children! As a substitute teacher, you'll have the flexibility to work around your schedule while providing quality care and learning experiences for children. 

We have exciting opportunities and are hiring across the following locations: Tupelo, West Point, Holly Springs, Oxford, Columbus, and Okolona. 

Responsibilities:

Fill in for teachers on vacation, sick leave, or other absences
Ensure a safe and engaging learning environment for children
Assist with educational and recreational activities
Collaborate with other teachers and center directors
Communicate with families about daily activities and updates

Qualifications:

Minimum 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent required; Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or relevant experience preferred
Must pass FBI fingerprint and Child Abuse Registry checks
Patient, flexible, and comfortable working in a team environment
Passion for working with young children aged 0-5 years

Pay:

Hourly rate of $13-$18/hour, with additional incentives available for ongoing commitment
