Specifically, were searching for someone who has profound experience when it comes to building cloud-compliant applications, having fresh ideas and a unique viewpoint, and who enjoys collaborating with a cross-functional and international team to develop real-world solutions and positive user experiences for every interaction. <strong>We are looking for someone who enjoys working with the product and technology!</strong></p><h3>Job Description</h3><ul><li>Design, implementation and testing of high-performance microservices in Java using state-of-the-art methods and technologies.</li><li>Have your share of ownership of incidents and issues tracking, as well as proposing improvements to the current applications. </li><li>Advocate an engineering culture of quality, good development principles and innovation from inside your team. </li><li>Contribute with the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including System Design and RFC documents. </li><li>Collaborate with testers and other peers, and be willing to mentor team members when necessary. </li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>A <strong>solid foundation in software engineering with 5+ years of commercial experience. </strong></li><li><strong>Java development experience</strong> including knowledge of common tooling such as <strong>Spring Boot and JPA/Hibernate. </strong></li><li><strong>Knowledge of traditional software development processes and tools</strong>, including <strong>Maven/Gradle</strong>, Git, JIRA, Confluence, Code Reviews and CI/CD. </li><li><strong>Hands-on experience developing microservices</strong> using modern technologies such as <strong>Apache Kafka, REST APIs</strong>, <strong>containerization</strong> (Docker, Kubernetes), and<strong> cloud-based infrastructure</strong> (GCP or another).</li><li>Experienced in taking ownership of tasks, commitments, quality, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement in an Agile/Scrum environment. </li><li><strong>Fluency in English (B2+).</strong></li></ul>
