What You’ll Do: 

As a Lead Pharmacist (Pharmacist in Charge), you will play a critical role in overseeing the operations of the retail dispensary and ensuring the efficient and compliant distribution of cannabis products to guests and patients. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and inviting environment for guests and adhering to all legal and regulatory requirements related to the sale of cannabis products. 

  • Stay informed about the evolving cannabis industry, including changes in regulations, new product developments, and emerging research.
  • Provide accurate dosage recommendations to ensure safe and effective use of cannabis products, in conjunction with the state’s patient allotments of medicine and per the recommendation of the patient’s doctor.
  • Conduct educational sessions for team members to enhance their understanding of cannabis pharmacology, patient interaction, and compliance protocols.
  • Stay informed about the evolving cannabis industry, including changes in regulations, new product developments, and emerging research.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, documenting consultations, recommendations, and any relevant information. Adhere to privacy and data protection regulations.
  • Maintain strict inventory standards. Participate in and sign off on all required inventory audits as required by the State and Curaleaf.
  • Oversees all Cannabis activities at the Pharmacy and maintains conformance to all regulations set by the State.
  • Act as a liaison between the Pharmacy and Curaleaf’s State compliance officers.

What You’ll Bring:

  • You have a PharmD Degree from an accredited institution and hold an Active Pharmacy License (licensed pharmacist) in the state in which you're applying.
  • You possess Strong knowledge of retail and Pharmacy landscape.
  • General awareness of State cannabis regulations
  • Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to respond to guests' concerns in a professional manner.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels inside and outside of the organization.
  • Flexibility and availability regarding scheduling-must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Preferred knowledge of the State Cannabis program in the State you are applying in.
