We're looking for a talented Junior SharePoint Developer to join our team in Washington, DC. This position will support a complex government client and will require providing technical and project leadership support for web development, as well as monitoring and supporting the customer’s Strategic Communications group.

Work Location:
Hybrid – A mix of onsite and remote work.

Clearance: 
Must be US citizen with the ability to obtain a MBI Public Trust security clearance.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities: 
  • Design and build web pages and applications using tools such as Dreamweaver, SharePoint Designer, and Drupal.
  • Plan, design, implement, and maintain internet and intranet websites in coordination with government POCs.
  • Develop responsive, multi-platform web applications using graphics and web development tools.
  • Contribute to the visual appeal and user experience of internal and external online communications.
  • Develop, deploy, document, and train users on custom SharePoint solutions for reporting and recording purposes.
  • Support debugging and ongoing operations of customer intranet applications.
  • Prepare for and assist with migration of websites, including production management, documentation, training, and solution development.
  • Provide and track help desk support for web platforms through email, phone, and in-person support and training.
  • Perform analysis, evaluations, and assessments to recommend system and process improvements.
  • Stay current with emerging web technologies to enhance mission support.
  • Exhibit strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.

Required Knowledge and Experience:
  • Detailed knowledge of web development, specifically Microsoft SharePoint 2010/2013.
  • Knowledge of network engineering, databases, and desktop applications.
  • Proficiency in current web technologies and trends, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (and libraries such as jQuery and Bootstrap), SVG, and media queries.
  • Experience creating visual products for internal and external communications platforms.
  • Ability to provide technical guidance, consultation, and leadership on web content and application issues.
