GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

 The basic purpose or function of this position is:

The position reports to the Quality Director / Manager for performing all core and essential duties and responsibilities.

The Individual performs all core and essential duties and responsibilities required for properly maintaining the CNV Technical Library and technical data systems.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.  The duties and responsibilities regularly  performed for this position are:

1.     Control system documentation, approved data, and records per the requirements identified in the Chromalloy Global Tier 1 Manual

2.     Perform to the established procedures for document and data control, including;

2.1.   Facilitation of the document control process

2.2.   Facilitation of the record control process

2.3.   Capture and control of industry, regulatory and customer requirements

2.4.   Administration of new and revised documentation

2.5.   Administration of the document control system

2.6.   Assist the Engineering team in development of technical data and traveler instructions

2.7.   Flow technical requirements to suppliers

2.8.   Writing and editing technical documents to existing standards and templates

3.     Typing/faxing of correspondence with regulatory agencies, customers and suppliers

4.     Adhere to all Company health, safety and environmental policies while performing job duties.

5.     Adhere to and promote Corporate Code of Ethical Standards

6.     Regular and reliable attendance

7.     Comply with all regulatory and industry requirements.

8.     Display an attitude that promotes teamwork and co-operation between all departments.

9.     Cross-train to become proficient at other tasks associated with the department.

10.  Ensure the proper utilization of the ERP and QMS Systems.

11.  Effectively interact with Customer and Regulatory Auditors during quality audits in describing the technical data program and process.

12.  Management of internal audit system

13.  Management of Preventive and Corrective Action system.

JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

To be eligible for this position, an individual must possess the following requirements to perform the essential job functions. 

 The specific EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE requirements of this position are:

1.   High School Diploma or GED

2.      Able to read and write in English.

3.      2 – 3 years previous data / document control experience required

4.     Experience Managing and Posting of regulatory, commercial customer or military technical manuals, technical orders, standards and industry specifications.

5.     Experience in an ISO 9001:2008 management system

The specific LICENSES and/or CERTIFICATIONS required for this position are:

ISO 9001-2008 Training or Auditor Course

The specific SKILLS, and KNOWLEDGE required for this position are:

Previous PC experience, including Microsoft Windows, Word & Excel
