POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Identity and Access Management Analyst is an experienced IAM operations specialist responsible for independently executing and validating complex provisioning and deprovisioning activities, supporting IAM projects, improving documentation, and assisting with internal and external audit requests. Success in this role is measured by accurate and timely execution of IAM requests, consistent adherence to established procedures, independent handling of complex IAM scenarios, improved evidence quality, and effective support of application onboarding, audit, and process improvement activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform all Analyst-level IAM responsibilities while serving as a senior resource for complex access management activities across Bank-supported applications. Independently manage and resolve advanced Joiner, Mover, Leaver (JML) requests, including complex transfer scenarios, application role modifications, non-employee and vendor access requests, temporary access exceptions, provisioning issues, and escalated IAM incidents.
- Ensure all access granted aligns with approved requests, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) standards, least-privilege principles, and regulatory or audit requirements.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews of high-risk, audit-sensitive, and complex access requests to validate approvals, role assignments, provisioning accuracy, deprovisioning completion, and evidence retention.
- Troubleshoot and coordinate resolution of IAM-related issues, partnering with Infrastructure, Information Security, application owners, vendors, and other stakeholders when escalation or cross-functional support is required.
- Represent Identity and Access Management in new system implementations, application onboarding efforts, and strategic projects by gathering provisioning requirements, identifying roles and entitlements, supporting RBAC design and updates, and preparing operational processes for production support and handoff.
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve IAM documentation, procedures, job aids, ticket-handling standards, and operational workflows to support consistency, compliance, and knowledge transfer.
- Monitor operational performance by reviewing service level metrics, aged ticket queues, recurring access issues, process deficiencies, and documentation gaps, recommending corrective actions and process improvements to IAM leadership. Identify automation, standardization, and optimization opportunities across IAM processes and Identity Governance capabilities, including provisioning, SCIM, SSO, Entra-based integrations, and other access management technologies.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 3 to 5 years of related IAM, IT, information security, or access administration experience, or equivalent experience, with demonstrated complex provisioning and audit/evidence experience.
- Demonstrated experience with user provisioning/deprovisioning, Active Directory, O365/email, ServiceNow or equivalent ticketing systems, role-based access, audit evidence, and application access administration.
- Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and organizational skills; ability to support customers, business partners, vendors, and technology teams professionally.
- Ability to interpret and apply IAM standards, RBAC requirements, SLAs, and audit documentation expectations without granting undocumented access.
- Working knowledge of IAM automation concepts, including provisioning workflows, RBAC, SCIM provisioning, and identity lifecycle processes.
- Ability to analyze automation failures, troubleshoot provisioning issues, validate outcomes, and coordinate remediation with engineering or platform support teams.
- Security or IAM-related certification such as Security+ or Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator.
