Job Description

Our Santa Clara TEM team is looking for a detail-oriented Production Control Coordinator to work between customers, Production Control dept. and scientists to deliver client data in a timely and reliable manner.  The Production Control Coordinator will be responsible for proactively meeting the administrative support needs of the Engineering team & their clients.

Schedule:  Mon-Fri 9am-6pm

• Logs and tracks the receipt and shipment of all samples into and out of the lab.
• Obtains purchase orders.
• Labels and stores samples in accordance with documented procedures.
• Maintains lab space as clean and organized. 
• May perform courier duties as necessary to support lab and client needs.

Pay Range: $22-26/per hour.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience supporting multiple departments and sites in a multi-functional fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail; integrity and discretion in dealing with confidential matters.
• Strong customer service focus, highly organized, responsible, and detail oriented.
• Work independently under time constraints and handle a multitude of tasks efficiently. 
• Must have a valid Drivers License.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Docs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Information

Position is subject to ITAR government regulations (International Traffic in Arms Regulations).

Physical Requirements:  

• Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands, arms, and shoulders repetitively to operate a keyboard and other office equipment. 
• Ability to use a telephone, access file cabinets, receive and ship customer products
• Ability to sit for periods of time
• Ability to communicate clearly and understandably with sufficient volume to ensure an accurate exchange of information in normal conversational distance, over the telephone, and in a group setting
• Ability to continuously operate a personal computer for extended periods of time (4 or more hours)
• Ability to lift to 10 lbs.
