The Role:
Seeking a strategic, data-driven, and operationally excellent Director of Learning & Development to lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of our firmwide learning initiatives.
The ideal candidate brings a combination of operational excellence, instructional design mastery, and polished facilitation presence – along with the ability to translate business strategy into a cohesive learning vision. This role is highly collaborative, strategic, and hands-on, requiring both big-picture thinking and strong execution.
Responsibilities:
Learning Operations & Technology
- Lead learning operations including program logistics, communications, registration, and evaluations.
- Manage learning technology platforms (e.g., LMS, LXP, virtual delivery tools), ensuring seamless learner experiences, platform optimization, and data integrity.
- Oversee vendor relationships, including sourcing, contracting, onboarding, integration, and vendor performance management of large scale enterprise agreements.
- Own and manage the L&D budget, including forecasting, tracking, and ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
Measurement & Continuous Improvement
- Use data analytics and feedback mechanisms to evaluate program effectiveness and business impact; develop and maintain reporting frameworks that track engagement, behavior change, and outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying learning trends and applying emerging methodologies, including social learning, microlearning, and on-the-job application strategies.
Learning Strategy & Program Design
- Develop and execute innovative, high-impact learning strategies aligned to business goals and evolving talent needs.
- Design and deliver blended learning programs - including flagship leadership development offerings for Senior Executives, as well as just-in-time and business-specific learning solutions.
- Lead end-to-end learning journeys from onboarding through advanced leadership development, ensuring scalability, learner engagement, and measurable impact.
Program Execution & Delivery Excellence
- Oversee the successful planning and execution of firmwide learning initiatives, including instructor-led (virtual and in-person), self-paced, and experiential learning formats.
- Facilitate training sessions as needed, tailoring content and delivery style to diverse audiences and fostering high levels of engagement and retention.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, business leaders, and end users to conduct learning needs assessments and translate findings into actionable programming.
Stakeholder Partnership & Influence
- Act as a thought partner and coach to business leaders, sharing insights on learning trends, best practices, and ways to build a culture of continuous development.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure learning initiatives reflect firm culture, business priorities, and global consistency.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience within a Learning & Developmen
