Position Summary:
The Department of Music at Rollins College welcomes applications for a full-time, tenure-track assistant professor faculty position in music technology at the rank of Assistant Professor of Music. The primary responsibility will be to teach Music Technology and Recording courses. Other teaching responsibilities will include teaching in the Rollins general education program, notably known as Rollins Foundation of the Liberal Arts, and possibly other music courses depending on the candidate’s expertise.

Minimum Qualifications and Education:
- Master's degree in music technology.
- Proficient in teaching digital audio workstations, with a primary focus on Logic Pro X.
- Demonstrated experience in instructing students in audio and MIDI sequencing within the Logic environment.
- Proficiency in teaching notation software to students of varying skill levels.
- Ability to guide students in video editing, website construction, and self-branding.
- Demonstrated foundation in music, including a background in performing and/or composing, to bring a well-rounded perspective to the role.
- Enthusiasm for integrating technology into music education, fostering creativity, and inspiring innovation in students.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing high-quality instruction and mentorship in a collegiate setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of successful full-time, college-level teaching in music technology.
- History of teaching non-music majors with ideas for engaging course topics.
- Terminal degree in music technology.
