Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant hardware design experience, including product development
- Quickly able to understand concepts and extract key requirements in RF applications
- Experience with OTA (over-the-air) characterization of CW (continuous wave) systems and RF link budget analysis
- Experienced in the design of printed circuit boards (PCBs) at frequencies of 2–10GHz
- Experience in board and system bring-up in anechoic test chambers; loading calibration files and initiating RF signal reception/transmission
- Proficiency in writing technical test reports and test procedures
- Familiarity with common test equipment in the evaluation of RF circuits and systems (e.g. spectrum analyzers, high speed oscilloscopes, and vector network analyzers)
- Strong knowledge writing python and shell scripts
- Knowledge of the new product development process and best practices to create a quality design while working within schedule and cost constraints
- Understanding of how to design for low cost, manufacturability, and reliability
