RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the supervision of all hourly plant teammates on the shift, including the coaching, training, discipline, and scheduling of work.
- Responsible for ensuring a safe work environment for all teammates, including providing instruction on safe operations, necessary personal protective equipment, and goods housekeeping.
- Responsible for decision making and working closely with other departments in problem solving on any technical or scheduling issues and coordinating with other shifts to ensure good communication.
- Responsible for ensuring that the production schedule is met in an efficient and effective manner to maximize plant efficiency and meet customer requirements.
- Maintain control of department labor cost including overtime and maximize labor utilization.
- Promote and lead lean manufacturing and continuous improvement activities such as kaizen and 5S initiatives by utilizing the Woodbridge Production System.
- Ensure set up and cycle times are met.
- Responsible for ensuring all teammates receive the necessary training required to perform their duties.
- Responsible for ensuring quality standards are met according to quality management system and IATF 16949:2016 requirements.
- Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all production paperwork and documentation and overseeing any stock movements and shipping duties to maintain accurate inventory levels.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor's degree in management or business preferred.
