Job Summary:
Business Manager is responsible for ensuring successful operations of the ORR program(s), and sets up processes for Administrative staff. This position is responsible for working with the Director of Business Operations on ORR reporting requirements and federal and state audits. Coordination with internal Morrison Departments is essential to the operations of the ORR programs; this position has a key role in coordination with fiscal, quality management, IT/Facilities, and human resources.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversees operations of the programs, including setting up and monitoring processes for ORR Administrative staff.
- Supervises the Business Coordinator and Administrative Coordinators, as needed from Program Directors
- ORR reporting requirements; including quarterly and annual reports
- Manages the Case File review process
- Manages the new hire onboarding system
- Manages the Child and Youth Care Certification (CYCCB) implementation
- Support Director of Business in oversight of over $10 million budget; this includes running monthly budget meetings with Program Directors
- Co-facilitates program level Quality Improvement Committee meetings with Program Evaluation department
- Assists with Office of Training, Investigation and Safety (OTIS) abuse allegation investigations
- Communication and coordination with federal stakeholders, as designated by supervisor
- Coordination with Morrison Fiscal, Human Resources, Program Evaluation, and Development departments
- Manages checking accounts for all ORR programs, prepares and tracks purchase orders
- Co-manages facilities projects with Safety and Maintenance Coordinators
- Coordinates and Supervises the State Licensing requirements and renewal process
- Coordinates and Supervises the ORR Monitoring Visit preparation, and subsequent Corrective Action Plans
- Safety Committee member.
- Provides trainings to staff, including the State Licensing Annual Training, ORR Orientation, and fiscal policy trainings.
- Assist with special projects identified by the programs and/or funder, as needed.
- Is aware of Morrison Compliance Program including Compliance Officer, Compliance Standards of Conduct, and Employee Compliance Hotline. Understands Compliance Standards of Conduct and signs attestation document. Completes all assigned compliance, HIPAA, client privacy, and fraud, waste, and abuse training. Knows how to report any client privacy or fraud, waste, or abuse concerns.
