Job Description Summary

The Fulfillment Leader for Instrumentation and Controls brings overall Sourcing knowledge and experience to the role with continuous improvement mindset. In-depth understanding of key Sourcing drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish the work within the Sourcing Operations team. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with all stakeholder and contributes to the area. Flexibility to shift from order fulfillment (tracking POs, supplier on-time delivery) to buyer role (issuing POs, change notices, resolving supplier order and invoice issues) when needed. Has a teamwork, Lean, and Continuous Improvement focus.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Define supplier on-time delivery strategy including daily management of open orders, and optimization of supplier deliveries. Lead negotiations and allocate resources to specific suppliers as required. Includes sourcing management such as data analysis, negotiations support, etc.
  • Use prior Sourcing experience and expertise to execute tactical responsibilities of order fulfillment, order placement, continuous improvement, and issue resolution as required.
  • A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor, with proven interpersonal skills. Communication with colleagues and the business about Sourcing and supplier coordination. Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations.
  • Impacts projects, processes and procedures in Sourcing Operations team. The role operates with some autonomy, but is focused on execution of Sourcing activities required.
  • Utilizes technical expertise and judgement to solve problems. Leverages technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited university or college or equivalent with at least 6 years in Sourcing, Project Management, Operations or relevant experience.
  • OR
  • High school diploma / GED with at least 10 years of experience in Sourcing, Project Management, Operations or relevant experience.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • This position is based at our headquarters in Wilmington, NC. Must be willing to relocate (relocation assistance provided) if not already local
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% of the time as required


Desired Characteristics:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
  • Established project management skills.

The base pay range for this position is $94K - $130K USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on 3/11/2026, or thereafter. 

The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
