As a Vice President in the Business Development Strategy and Support team, you will play a pivotal role in executing strategic initiatives to enhance advisor development and productivity. You will work across teams, serving as a strategic leader whose responsibilities may evolve based on business needs. This role requires a proactive approach to leadership, strong strategic thinking, executive presence, along with the ability to implement feedback and propose innovative solutions.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop, lead, and execute strategic plans, collaborating with multiple stakeholders to enhance advisor and client engagement.
- Spearhead the rollout of new technology tools, ensuring smooth integration and adoption across field teams.
- Oversee project management activities, coordinating with various teams to ensure timely and successful implementation of initiatives.
- Create and refine executive-ready presentations, ensuring they effectively communicate strategic insights and recommendations.
- Conduct field training sessions to equip advisors and field leaders with the necessary skills and knowledge to leverage new tools and strategies.
- Serve as a strategic leader, adapting to changing responsibilities and establishing trust and collaborative partnerships across all teams.
- Work independently to identify business needs and propose innovative solutions that align with strategic goals.
- Gather and implement feedback from various stakeholders to continuously improve processes and outcomes.
- Provide execution support for key business priorities, ensuring timely and effective delivery of initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across teams, actively participating in diversity initiatives and supporting the firm’s commitment to inclusion.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience in financial services
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to drive strategic initiatives and lead cross-functional teams.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute complex initiatives.
- Experience in supporting technology tool launches and project management.
- Expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint and executive presentation development.
- Ability to work independently and proactively identify business needs and solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and adapt to changing roles and responsibilities.
- Demonstrated ability to take direction from senior leadership and implement feedback effectively.
- Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a dynamic workload.
- Self-motivated with a commitment to acquiring new knowledge and skills; continuously improving standards of work.
- Bachelor’s degree required
