General Maintenance

Position Summary Details The General Maintenance Technician will complete assigned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance repairs requiring conveyor, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, instrumentation, HVAC and other equipment, systems or structures. Ensures repairs and maintenance to all equipment and facilities. Responds to spills and other emergency situations, performing tasks necessary. Assists in emergencies as needed.  

Qualifications
 

• Must be 18 years of age or older Knowledge of General Building Knowledge
• General Painting Knowledge
• General Dry Wall Repair Knowledge
• Prep wall, floors, fill hole, move fixtures, and furniture
• Basic hand tool knowledge, such as sanders, grinders, Cresent wrench, needle nose pliers, etc.
• Ability to plan out work with minimal waste
• Good and affective communicator
• Able to read, write, and follow instructions
• Available to work weekends and OT as requested
• Available to work in summer heat and winter cold is necessary
• Able to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
• Ability to read a tape measure

Preferred Qualifications

• Customer Service Experience 
• 1 yr of similar work experience
