As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and services.

What you'll do...

• Troubleshoot and monitor production environment of remote lab at Vizio. 

• Develop alerting and notification applications/dashboards. 

• Investigate and resolve hardware and software incidents. 

• Handle hardware assets and onboard new users to the remote lab. 

• Provide end-user support via email, chat, and phone. 

• Collect and analyze user feedback to enhance the remote lab experience. 

• Develop documentation and knowledge base articles. 

• Leverage GitHub Copilot, LLM-based assistants, and other AI tools to accelerate development, enhance code quality, and drive innovation in automation and tooling.  

 

What You’ll Bring   

• Expertise in Python programming and Linux system engineering. 

• Strong application support and troubleshooting skills. 

• Experience with system administration and cloud engineering. 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

• Passion for helping users and improving their experience. 

 

Bonus Points  

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure). 

• Knowledge of networking and security best practices. 

• Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira Service Desk, Zendesk). 

• Experience in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
