About the Team:
The Software/DevOps Team at Walmart/VIZIO is dedicated to building robust and scalable software solutions that drive our business forward. Our team thrives on collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to excellence. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will directly contribute to the success of our projects and overall company goals by delivering high-quality software and infrastructure solutions.
What You’ll Do:
- Utilize Terraform to provision infrastructure resources.
- Deploy and maintain server applications, ensuring high availability.
- Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment.
- Implement automation processes using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Troubleshoot and optimize infrastructure performance.
- Ensure security best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Work with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services for scalable infrastructure.
What You’ll Bring:
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, C++, or Go).
- Strong experience with DevOps tools and technologies.
- Expertise in infrastructure provisioning and server maintenance.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies and cloud services.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
