Position Overview:

Safe Children Coalition is seeking an experienced and passionate Program Supervisor to lead our Youth Intervention Services (YIS) program. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing a team of counselors dedicated to supporting youth facing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. Your leadership will help shape the delivery of services, ensuring that young individuals and their families receive the guidance, resources, and encouragement they need to thrive. You’ll promote positive change and help build a foundation for lasting success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Staff Supervision & Support: Provide regular supervision, guidance, and performance support for YIS staff, ensuring documentation and casework meet all quality and timeliness standards.
  • Case Oversight: Ensure high-quality service delivery by monitoring case management, counseling sessions, and service plans. Collaborate with youth and families to develop strategies that foster growth, development, and long-term well-being.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Maintain compliance with agency policies, state regulations, and best practices in Youth Intervention Services.
  • Team Leadership: Cultivate a positive, mission-driven work environment that prioritizes the success of both staff and clients.

Competitive Salary Range: $60,000-$64,000




Requirements

Education & Experience:

Master’s degree from an accredited university or college with a major in the field of counseling, psychology, social work, or a related human services field and two (2) years of professional experience in the field of child welfare or social services.

OR

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with a major in the field of counseling, psychology, social work, or a related human services field and five (5) years of professional experience in the field of child welfare or social services.

Other Requirements:

  • Valid Florida Driver’s License (must be insurable under agency policy).
  • Must meet state criminal background check requirements.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Strong knowledge of community resources and support services.
