PRIMARY PURPOSE:

As a Pool Cocktail Server, you will be responsible for setting the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

STARTING RATE: $13.5344 an hour plus tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Efficiently and accurately take and serve food and beverage orders within the designated pool area.

• Proficiently use the point of sales (POS) system for order entry, process credit card transactions, and handle cash payments.

• Prepare, garnish, and deliver cocktails and other beverages from the bar to guests. Serve food items as requested.

• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the menu, including liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic options available to ensure accurate guest recommendations.

• Provide information about hotel services, features, local attractions, and activities to guests, responding to inquiries accurately and courteously.

• Perform opening and closing tasks based on shift assignments, including folding and stacking cocktail napkins, stocking swizzle sticks, straws, matches, lining cocktail trays, stocking glassware, and restocking the supply cabinet. Inspect and ensure the cleanliness and condition of the assigned station and service areas, addressing any deficiencies.

• Address and resolve guest complaints within the scope of your authority. Refer issues beyond your authority to management and notify your supervisor or Security of any unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft.

• Perform other job-related duties as requested.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.

PREFERRED:

• Previous cocktail serving experience.
