Compensation

Salary Range: $71.24 - $113.98 / hour

 

The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range. Pay for PRN positions is calculated differently than Full-Time, Regular Part-Time, and Part-Time positions. PRN Rates depend on the position and other factors, including years of experience, or shift commitment according to the department policy. PRN differential is added in certain positions.

Responsibilities

Position Overview:

The Director of Ambulatory Medicine Quality, Systems, and Patient Experience is responsible for leading the Ambulatory Medicine division in achieving excellence in clinical quality, operational systems, and patient experience. This role oversees value-based care initiatives, payer performance requirements, outpatient quality efforts, patient-focused operational improvements, and interdisciplinary team alignment. The Director collaborates with clinical and administrative leaders to create a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and innovation while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Qualifications

Required:

• Master's or Doctorate Degree in related area
• Outpatient Quality Assurance, Risk, Patient Safety, Accreditation & Regulatory Affairs experience
• High-level management experience in leading multiple teams 
• Experience with Value-Based Contracts: Action Planning, Provider Network Coordination and Execution High-level management experience in leading multiple teams 
• Five (5) years' or more experience working with or in large healthcare systems. 
• High-level management experience in leading multiple teams  
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite and experience working in and with EMRs 
• Experience working in and with an electronic medical record (EMR) and other patient communication and outreach technologies 
• Basic understanding of process improvement methodology 

• Primarily operates in an office environment with occasional travel to clinic sites as required

 Preferred Qualifications

• California RN License
• Project management experience 
• Experience in transitioning and optimizing EHR systems, especially EPIC
• Experience in managing system-wide projects
