Assistant Vice President, Mid-Atlantic

Responsibilities: Work with financial advisors to drive sales across the Midatlantic territory by applying knowledge of the markets and the economy. Consult with financial advisors across multiple channels to identify areas where they can utilize structured products and alternatives based on the current market environment. Assist the team with ideas on how to drive sales based on this research. Build a book of business and clients that rely on your expertise and knowledge. Serve as an integral part of the territory and the firm. Duties include daily marketing emails, phone calls, zooms and in-person meetings; maintaining current client relationships while also closing new business; and functioning as an “expert” in structured products. Annual travel in mid-Atlantic region of the U.S. up to 20%.

Salary: $73,000/year

This is an in-office and not a remote position

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration or a related field and three years of experience in the job offered or three years internal wholesaling experience. Experience must include three years each of the following: conducting consultative sales calls to distribute investment offerings;  communicating objectives, risks, features, and benefits of financial products to financial advisors;  analyzing regional and product sales trends within participating broker/dealer firms and among individual financial advisors; partnering with external wholesaler and regional distribution teams to develop business plans and optimal contact strategies; utilizing a contact management system to capture information and schedule follow up activities. Annual travel in mid-Atlantic region of the U.S. up to 20%. Experience may be gained concurrently.
