Technical Business Analysis - Advisor I

What does a successful Technical Business Analysis – Advisor I do at Fiserv?
You will play a crucial role in driving requirements gathering sessions during project meetings with clients. You will work with cross-functional client stakeholders to complete application requirements and scoping. Your focus will be on championing and establishing product requirements and ensuring the organization is prepared for new products and product launches. You will interact with team leadership, Subject Matter Experts, and technical teams to draw out business requirements, create functional and design documents, and prepare all necessary User Interface designs (wireframes).

What you will do:

• Formulate and define business requirements and use cases.

• Create collateral, such as reference documents and user guides, to support products and solutions.

• Document functional requirements and determine the complexity of work for applicable projects.

• Work with solutions consultants and solutions architects to create proposal documents and requirements templates.

• Provide analysis to resolve production issues and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Participate in product demos and the requirements process.

• Engage in Agile development activities such as stand-up meetings, sprint planning, and retrospectives; serve as ScrumMaster.

• Act as a liaison between developers, operations, and product management.

What you will need to have:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.

• 6+ years of experience in business or systems analysis, including working with large, complex software solutions.

• 5+ years of strong technical knowledge and experience working in software development teams.

• 5+ years of solid understanding of SDLC methodologies and working knowledge of JIRA.

• 5+ years of proficiency in web-based and middleware technologies (e.g., J2EE, XML, JSON).

• 3+ years of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).

• Current Fiserv experience.

What would be great to have:

• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects across multiple software products.

• Experience working in financial domains (e.g., banks, credit unions).

• Knowledge of Scrum methodology.

• Experience in technology modernization and cloud adoption projects.
