Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring proper valuation and reconciliation
- Assist and maintain proper procedures for cycle counts and year end processes
- Prepare Audit PBCs
- Responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual balance sheet reconciliations; including inventory, prepaids and accruals
- Prepare and file sales tax returns in multiple states, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations
- Support ad hoc projects and financial analysis as requested by management
- Lead improvement of system of internal control to drive accuracy in financial reporting and safeguarding of assets.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions including driving efficiency and effectiveness through use of technology.
- Ensure that all processes and procedures are documented and updated.

Education and/or Experience:
- Requires 2+ years’ experience in accounting.
- Experience with Netsuite or similar ERP system and Mi9 preferred
- Proficient in MS Excel including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
- Experience in process improvement and the implementation of technology solutions
- Retail, or other multi-unit experience with at least a $100 million+ revenue organization
- Must be detailed-oriented, a team-player, professional.
- Unquestionable work ethic and drive to achieve success.
- Must have a proactive approach and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively work with both internal and external customers.
Certifications or Licenses:
CPA not required.
